Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the Jot AI mobile application (the "Service", "App") operated by Jot AI ("us", "we", "our").

By downloading, accessing, or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you do not have permission to access the Service.

1. Use of the Service

1.1 Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

1.2 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding the password you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your account. We encourage you to use a strong password (a combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols) with your account.

2. Subscription Terms

2.1 Subscription Plans

Jot AI offers various subscription plans to access premium features. Details about the features included in each subscription plan are available on our website and within the App.

2.2 Billing Cycle

Your subscription will automatically renew according to your chosen subscription period (monthly or annually) unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

2.3 Auto-Renewal

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase and upon renewal. Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

2.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change our subscription plans and their pricing. If we change pricing for your subscription plan, we will notify you before your next billing cycle, and you will have the opportunity to accept the new price or cancel your subscription.

2.5 Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. To cancel, go to Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your iOS device, select Jot AI, and tap "Cancel Subscription." Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle, and you will not receive a refund for any unused portion of your subscription.

2.6 Refunds

Purchases may be refunded according to Apple's App Store refund policies. We do not process refunds directly; all refund requests must be submitted to Apple.

2.7 Free Trial

If offered, any free trial period will be automatically converted to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. You will not receive a notice when the free trial ends.

3. Content

3.1 User Content

Our Service allows you to record, store, and process audio recordings, transcriptions, and other content ("User Content"). You retain all rights to your User Content, but you grant us a license to use, copy, modify, and display your User Content in connection with operating and providing our Service.

The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before the new terms take effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including, without limitation, if you breach the Terms.
